Finish Line Consulting Group was founded by Jason Upton in 2018. After talking with other executives, it was clear that many companies need some additional engineering and product executive experience. Whether it’s bridging a gap between full-time CIOs, VPs of Engineering, guiding startups through their project challenges, or helping the corporate management team find a balance between R&D spend and strategic value, our goal is to get the right consultants to help you out quickly and get your project, team, or company on-track.

Jason Upton
Jason built and led engineering teams successfully for 23 years at Microsoft. His experience includes product strategy, R&D investment management, helping project managers get critical projects on-track, helping engineering teams design high quality products and deliver those products to market. He has extensive experience with large scale engineering systems, quality assurance systems, and project management systems.
Jason is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he graduated with honors from Technical school training. He lives in the Seattle area and has two children. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, motor sports, and time with his family.
